Ok so the idea was simple. I needed to build a pc for roughly 800$ canadian. This is what i came up with: Motherboard: MSI 870A-G55 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130558 CPU:AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103851 GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850 1GB http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102908 Ram: CORSAIR XMS3 4GB http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145260 PSU: SeaSonic S12II 620 Bronze 620W http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096 HD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152181 Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153 I also have an optical drive but i figure its not worth listing as they are all pretty much the same anyways. So what do you guys think? Any changes you'd recommend? This is the first time i picked out parts by myself, but i have built other pcs. Thanks for the help!

You did a very good job. You will need an OS though, Windows 7 64-bit OEM can be found for $110 canadian.

Also, do you plan on overclocking your CPU? If so an aftermarket cooler would be a good investment.

you can get your cpu and gpu in a bundle saving you a few bucks..

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.589634

if you need an OS change the case to a thermaltakev3 and bundle it with windows 7 64-bit (1 time use) for a total of $135

I would rather get an Asus motherboard instead of MSI.

Is there an Asus board in particular that you would recommend?

I honestly don't see how an ASUS board would be an improvement. MSI is a great company...

At the $100 price board they are comparable.

I will definitely consider overclocking at some point, however due to money restrictions i will have to stay at factory clock. I still have to get a monitor and other accessories.
