CoH by leaps and bounds.
I love sci-fi games, but DoW2 didn't appeal to me at all. It didn't have any base building. You can't build defensive structures or 'area of denial' weapons/structures. The AI also feels like a labotomized version of CoH's. They won't move to cover when they're underfire, you have to order them. You also control much fewer units. The maps are also much more 'open' and there aren't any choke points, partailly because DoW doesn't have equivilant units to deal with defensive structures (mortors, snipers, and atillery), well they do, but you have to build a squad then upgrade them (artillery requires you KILL people to use it, instead of the standard recharge time). It's much more of a hassle then CoH, which I don't get because it seems like they were trying to simplify the game by having fewer structures... Relic... it didn't work.
Which game has a better online mp?arya24I would guess that DoW2 would have a bigger community as it as brand new. As for which one to get, I don't think they are all that similar. Its like comparing CoH to World in Conflict; sure they're both strategy, but they are still quite different.
