Okay, I'm getting manhandled by the big Ogre at the end of that tower (I forget the name of it). Any tips for beating that thing? I can come CLOSE, but run out of health and mana potions before I can manage to kill it.

I think a large part of it is what spells you have (if your playing a mage). The biggest thing I guess would be to try to keep all your part members from going uncontious. As long as they are still standing the can be healed, once they are down you loose one fouth of you strength for the rest of the fight. Aside form htat, if possible keep debuffs / damage over time / freeze paralyze on the ogre as much as possible.
Yeah I'm playing a mage. Main spells I've been using are the freeze/paralysis trap, and then my healing. should i be doing something with the positioning of my party members too?I think a large part of it is what spells you have (if your playing a mage). Yeah, flank him and don't ever stay in front of him.
Play as all four members. Pause the game every few seconds to adjust movement and give orders. I positioned a mage a bit further from the ogre, it draws his attention and allows the other fighters to heal or recharge their attacks. I'm playing as a human warrior, but it's much better and enjoyable to use all the party members.
I haven't died on normal, before applying the patch.
Make sure you and the random mage are using debuffs constantly.. and I also noticed if you keep hitting the ogre with mage spells, he'll start running after the mage. You can run around the room and kite him for a little bit until he starts focusing on someone else, and then blast him with some more spells. Once I did this, the fight seemed a good bit easier. You don't want anyone behind the ogre, either, because he doesa kick knockdown effect.
just kite the boss with whom ever has aggro with everyone else going all out on the boss, when the boss switches aggro do the same thing with who ever has it
