Hi. I have a DVD burner which has an IDE connection. I'm getting a new Mobo, which has an IDE connector (40-1 pin pri_EIDE) and it says on the manual that it's for the ultra DMA 133/100/66 signal cable. Is that the same thing as my DVD burner? Or do I have to buy a new one with SATA? Thanks!

EIDE, or Enhanced IDE, is backward compatible with older standard IDE interface, (http://www.dewassoc.com/kbase/hard_drives/ide_eide_qa.htm#Q5)

You're gonna need a 40 pins 80 conductors (80 wires for 40 pins)
