DX10 On XP Question

I have a dx10 card ,now i was told i can play dx10 but i will see it in dx9

Ive installed dx9c, but when i go into bioshock it still wont let me tick the dx10 graphics

Is it just bioshock that has this problem?

Because when i get crysis i wanna play on dx10 servers even if i see it in dx9....

You have xp...so no dx 10 foryou. your graphics card has the option of turning it on but your computer wont allow it. I was gonna be a jerk but i decided againstit for the good of humanity. You will not be able to play on dx 10 servers.

DX10 is vista only, unfortunately for you. Theyre trying to 'port' it (by they i mean hackers) but i dont think theyll be able to get the full functionality AND make it work as good as it does in vista. So if you want it, you'll need vista.

Please nobody make any comments about its just ms trying to force us to upgrade... no-one is forcing you to do anything.
