[QUOTE="kraychik"]I said this in another thread about MW2: I didn't want to start a new thread about this, so I thought I'd share a thought of mine about the single player's airport scene (and overall storyline). The only thing that offended me was the fakeness of the Russian terrorist storyline. Anybody who knows anything about Russia's history with terrorism knows that it comes in only one flavour - terrorism from Chechnyan Muslim Separatists who want to establish an Islamic state. This 'Makarov' guy felt like an 80s cold-war Hollywood villain, totally fake (maybe more recently he could have passed for a Tom Clancy villiain). What offended me was the fear (or massive ignorance) of the story writers to NOT use Islamic terrorists as the catalysts of the terrorist storyline. I imagine they were afraid of being portrayed as anti-Muslim or Islamophobic. Didn't this piss anyone else off? A non-Muslim Russian terrorist? Are you f'n kidding me? Talk about political correctness in full effect over a at EA. I found this fake storyline impeded my ability to get immersed in this part of the story. My imagination wasn't able to override my brain in this regard. I simply could not believe in a non-Muslim/non-Chechnyan Russian terrorist murdering people in an airport. That's reality. EDIT - Basically, the developers are either afraid to tell a realistic story dealing with Chechnyan terrorists, or they're very ignorant of Russia's relatively well-known problems with Chechnyan terrorism. If anything, the game content in the airport if very watered down (no kids or teenagers, for one thing, I think I may have seen an elderly person in a walker?)... hardly offensive IMO.

The story is not real nor is it based on real events. They can make the terrorists whoever they want.

[QUOTE="RiseAgainst12"][QUOTE="dudebot5"]have you never heard of the bombing of the trade center!dudebot5
Yes.. But your posts still make no sense.

i mean the aiporst scene in mw2 you kill maybe 200 people and everyone is making a fuse about that but i have not seen one topic about the bombing of the trade centers and it kill hundreds more people!

But they didnt put a level in the game where you ram a plane into the side of a skyscraper.

It is just a game

IW just gives a different perspective by being a terrorist

Not a big deal for me

IW and MW2 are indeed cheap, but EA shouldn't have taken this kind of cheap shot at them.

want to show that you're a considerate publisher EA? stop the whole messy, blood sucking DLCs, go by the good old way of expansion packs!
