I was gonna get everything from newegg since i've already bought stuff from them. But checked a couple of brand new pieces on ebay and its cheaper. Is it worth it? I've never bought anything from eBay so i'm kinda new with it.

No reason why not as long as they are new or you are aware of the condition if they are used.

yes it would be, but if buying used make sure you buy from a seller with a good reputation & sales history.

not really. if your getting some parts out of country there will be duties and taxes. Also i think its better to buy used parts locally from online sites like craigslist/kijiji. you save up on taxes and shave a bit off the retail price.

In general, buying sensitive electronic components via EBay is chancey. It's far too easy for a hard drive or card even from a reputable manufacturer to require an RMA due to shock during shipping, electrostatic discharge, miscellaneous shipping damages, etc. Further, many manufacturer warranties only cover original retail purchases.

While I'm not one to buy extended warranties, I still want to be able to return defective equipment and service hardware should it go bad.

Good luck whatever you do, though!

I've bought multiple graphics cards, RAM and hard drives from eBay whether whoesaler or 2nd hand and haven't had any issues with them. Of course just like anything on eBay make sure the seller has a high rating or if he/she only have a view items sold look at their history and see what the feedback is.

Ehh, its risky, if it doesn't work or it fails, that can be an issue.
