Personally I'd prefer a new Elder Scrolls than a new Fallout game. The Elder Scrolls universe has always sucked me in more than the Fallout universe. With number 5, if they combined the depth of loreand level scaling that was in Morrowind and the AI and graphics of Oblivion and Fallout 3 we'd have a winner.
...and i would prefer another fallout, but judging with the way this is going, its highly likely that they made anothe fallout. I mean, take a look at all the developers out there. If they got a game, they will milk it, reboot it and keep on making it rather making a new game. Why would bethesda do otherwise? Eg: kane and lynch 2, what for? The first game did not do well. But i guess its easier to develop on improving a ready template and calling it a sequel rather making a new game from scratch.

there are going to be 2 books written first by Greg Keyes, actually, the first one is already out (and aside from the slow plot build-up, it's not too bad). the second book comes out later this year (i think)and both books serve as a bridge to TES V. i haven't heard about it being an MMO, although i wouldn't be surprised if there is eventually a TES MMO that exists in parallel to the main series.
My guess is TES V by no earlier than 2012. but i only base that on my own gut feelings and how the series since Morrowind has taken in terms of development time.
I don't get why everyone thinks FO4 will be released before ESV. FO3 just came out in 2008 and then we have FONV this fall.

Because game developers like to work on a templete and improve their game and call it a sequel. Bethesda will be insane if they dont do the same thing. Since the game sold very well. Its easier for them to work on the ready fallout 3 template and make fallout 4. Bethesda started working on FO4 before they even release FO3. Also new vegas is being made to cover the time lapse between FO3 and FO4.
They already talked about a mmorpg type elder scrolls sadly..Im not sure where i heard this. possibly on ign..Unfortunatly thats where the big money these days in pc games are going sad but true...Every one an his brother these days are doing a mmorpg..If they are working on elder scrolls five its going to be released, on all three plat forms when the next wave of consoles hits..So dont really think they will release one as early as 2014 or 2015, they say the xbox has another five year spam left in her..Unles they do it on the tale end life cycle of the xbox ps3. my guess it will be on the next xbox..They are pobably working on the game right now..Just keeping the thing hush hush..Than a year from the release of the next console cycle will here about it..Its how these things develop..It gives them time to come up with the next bext graphic upgrade..Be the next best game just like oblivion was for the 360..How ever this is just my opinion not facts..Im only going bye what they did with morrowind an oblivion...Morrowin was on the original xbox oblivion on the 360..So the next elder scrolls title would be the next console series..

I live in detroit so you can think of how hard it is to get a job. thats beside the point though, i havent even played fallout 3 yet.....so if they make a fourth one....ill be extra behind.

Fallout 3 is pretty cheap nowadays. Its worth getting, if you like the game you will play it forever.
