what do you mean by "not run" does it give you an error message?

If PB kicks you...then right click on the game icon....click on properties....and run the game as an admin.

i mean it shows the picture before starting then the screen goes black then the desktop comes back

well since its a new computer.......Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80 GHz 2.79 GHz

driver is Intel(R)82945G Exspress chipset family

i assume its not very good but conidering the game came out a couple years ago and i just got this computer......

Yeah, I say it has nothing to do with Vista and everything to do with the video card.

The part about "Run as Admin" is needed to run BF2 in Vista though, so try that. I wouldn't hold my breath with that video card though.

BF2 and integrated graphics cards don't mix. Sorry. Try the original Call of Duty, it should run fine on your PC. :)
