What F2P mmos have you guys been playing? It seems like a lot of the MMOS have been going F2P. I don't have a lot of money atm so I was interested to see what everyone has been playing.

Runes of Magic just wasn't for me. LOTRO looks very promising but I can't get in the Beta yet. I picked up Zentia last week after reading the Massively article about it and it has actually proven to be much better than I thought it would be. I like the multipassenger mounts and unique characters (what other game can you be a 9 year old girl who beats up monsters or a 99 year old man)

I was just wondering if anyone could recomend any others? Perferably not in Beta

A lot of people go on about Allods online, which i played but didnt really enjoy that much. I think tbh with you, it would be better if you stay away from f2p mmorpgs, a lot of them are pretty rubbish, and give advantages to the people who are paying in the item shops. Maybe you should consider saving up for a game like guild wars as it has no monthly fees, just pay once for the game and expansions (if your interested in them)..

What are you looking for in an MMO? There's tons of them out there.... are you after a specific type of gameplay, community, or setting? If you didn't liked Runes of Magic you might not like Allods either, since they both seemed very similar to me when I tried Allods. Dungeon and Dragons Online is different than the other two, not in Beta, and by the same company that makes Lord of the Rings online (which goes f2p this fall, if you don't mind waiting a bit). I've also played Shin Megami Tensei Online, which was fun. Graphics are a bit dated, but the community large and very friendly and the setting is certainly different from other MMOs out there. Free games can be great... it's easier to release them so there's more rubbish to wade through, but there are some real gems that make it worth it. :)

May I recommend Final Fantasy 11? The game is a subscription-based game and comes with 30 day Free Trial. The monthly fee is well worth paying. It is an outdated game but the game is being consistently updated.

Okay, you've been doing this in too many threads now. Time to stop.
