Hey i just bought fallout 3 and i installed it but when i click play after i launched the game i get a black screen. If you could help me with this problem it would be very much appreciated.

There is a thread on the beth forums about getting the game running on such old hardware. You might get it running, but its not going to be pretty. Im guessing your CPU is of similar vintage... ?

Yeah the Radeon 9800 is really outdated. That is defeantly your problem. Sorry pal but I think you will need a new computer to get it up and running.

nah it says i should be able to play even with radeon 9800, i read it in the requierments

Where did you read that? I don't think the 9800 is in the supported list of cards, although that list is not a complete list of cards that can work with it, its just not offically supported.

Are you sure it doesn't say: Nvidia 9800? in the requirements?

this. You really need to go to a fallout specific forum because you're going to have to tweak a few things. To help a little though... First download the latest drivers for your graphic card. Download the latest game patch too. Often they support more graphic cards in the patch. Third shut every program down that you can. Don't run virus protection, or anything that might soak up resources in the background.
