Well, I invested over a thousand hours into Oblivion (with mods, including Oscuros), and enjoyed it immensely. But I'm currently playing through Fallout 3, and I'm enjoying it more. They've managed to take the best from the original Fallout games and mix it with their Oblivion engine, and come up with a worthy sequel imo. I like the way they've implemented V.A.T.S. as well.
So I voted for Fallout 3.
I never got the chance to oblivion but im getting it soon which would probably change my vote, so for me it's fallout 3 due to lack of knowledge :P
I'm trying to play Mass Effect, and i am literally installing a new sound card this very second just to play it. The game has cost me three hours of fighting bugs, updating drivers, rewriting configuration files and headaches. 10 hours of actually playing. No game has EVER been this F'd straight out of the box and this comes from nearly twenty years of PC gaming...
Hopefully this new sound card allows me to enjoy the game.
But on topic...
1. Fallout 3- Loved it, Fallout 1&2 are in my top five games ever created. Fallout 3 (With all DLC) is the best RPG i've played since Morrowind.
3. Mass effect. As i said before, i have never in my life had more problems with a game. Whoever was in charge of sound compatibility gets a big 1.0/10
But thataside its a good game, 7.5/10 easy. 8.5/10 on the planets they actually wrote story for, the other planets seem to be a way to waste your time and use ugly textures... The mako is garbage. The fantastic approach to dialogue and in game cut scenes make me hope they put a little more polish on the second one. There is so much potential, they just fell short with their first attempt

Hey we dont dissagre with everything, we agree we those i think that mass effect was average too, simple story, few planets very easy, too much dialogues without really changing much, in the end its was just average. Fallout 3 was vast superior.
Mass Effect no question.
Has a compelling story, fantastic production values and great gameplay.
Mass Effect by a huge margin, is a much more cohesive game. Its elements blend together in a much better fashion, with no glaring faults.

Since when blant and generic story that has been told before with generic characters is called "compeling" just asking, because mass effect has some of the simpliest stories i ever seen in an rpg... ohh wait there is fable....meh.
Dude I mean...really, you've been so much on these forums already and you still don't know what the EDIT button does? stop making 3,4,5,8 consecutive posts, stick to one huge post or read the whole thread, not one post reply, one post reply, one post reply, etc.

[QUOTE="DanielDust"]Each one reffers to a diffirent user, there is no need to quote a huge post multiple times in order for others to reply. The reason it will be huge is because it will containt more than one post. Others can edit your post, and cut out all the information they don't need. Yes of course it will be huge because it contins more than one post, that's the point, you need to discuss with more than one person, you quote and under that you answer, you don't make multiple posts, that is distruptive posting and it's pretty annoying especially your 8 record :/.Dude I mean...really, you've been so much on these forums already and you still don't know what the EDIT button does? stop making 3,4,5,8 consecutive posts, stick to one huge post or read the whole thread, not one post reply, one post reply, one post reply, etc.
