Yeah. This, basically.

Levels might have the ability to be ported to different platforms, but you won't be able to play people on different platforms.

Wow, that's pretty disappointing in my books.

But, I guess, cross-platform networking would be an absolute b!7ch to develop and test for, especially in a game of such a nature.

I doubt the consolites would be having much fun after being pulverized by mouse/kb users.

There was one shooter like this a few years back (forgot the name), but obviously it didnt succeed since a gamepad is worse in every way when compared to mouse/keys. Especially on a shooter. TC, your thread is illogical.

Well like someone already point out it's not possible, besides this is a fps remeber? don't you think it will be a little unfair the disvantage for console gamers and their fiddly controls :P

Wait, I thought Far Cry 2 was SP only? I could of sworn they said it was at some point. Maybe it's changed or I'm just not remembering right...

In any case, yeah, don't expect any cross-platform play.

The console versions have auto-lock-on, though. Place your crosshair in the general area of the target, bring up your sights, and you screen will center on the target. It's pretty lame.

every console fps has aimbot built in because gamepads simply cant match the sensitivity of a mouse and so console gamers need to cheat a little

altough i would like to see some more crossplay between consoles and pcs the only games i know of that have it r shadow run and universe at war.

It is possible though. Shadowrun I think is online for both pc and 360.

No, but I'd love it if they did have that. Even with auto-lock on consoles, PC gamers would own.

the only game, to my knowledge, to have a feature like that is Shadowrun.
