Far Cry 2 vs Crysis better graphics?

I can't believe im asking this but do any of you think Far Cry 2 looks better then Crysis in any way shape or form? This is brought from a video on youtube Far Cry 2 vs Crysis. On the comments there saying Far cry 2 looks better but im betting there just console fanboy's that have not played crysis let alone maxed it out. Far cry 2 looks better thumbs up, Crysis looks better thumbs down ahaha.

I think there was a member on this forum that came up with a brilliant saying

"I have eyes, therefore I can clearly see that crysis looks better, CLEARLY."

Crysis absolutely looks better. I've played both for long periods and enjoy both games. While I would say Far Cry 2 has some very little things over Crysis (the grass looks better and reacts to things passing through it realistically), and is overall one of the better looking games on the PC when maxed out, it simply can't compare to Crysis. Everything from the lighting to the shadows to the shader effects to the textures to the character models to the water looks notably better in Crysis.

I like how the vegetation reacts in FC2. It feels more responsive and natural than in Crysis. The explosions are brilliant with branches and leafs flying all around...

The best comparison is the optimisation. Farcry 2 graphics were very good, considering how well it runs maxed out. Also the fire effects were startling. I also prefer that fact that weapons wore out, got rusty etc. The only thing bad about Farcry 2 was gameplay in that guardposts constantly respawned, this made me not complete the game. Wonder if there is a mod that stops the guardpost respawningfrom happening? Only ask because it made me feel like I didn't actually accomplish anything.
Crysis graphics were better but resource hungry to the extreme. Also gameplay wasn't as good, I couldn't find a challenge in shooting a guy, going into stealth to hide, then shooting another guy. Farcry 2 was much better in regards to the firefights. Crysis you automatically heal (wow there's a challenge), Farcry 2 you had to find health packs and water, dig bullets out etc.
I know this topic was about graphics, but a true game means excellent gameplay regardless of the graphics. Farcry 2 wins over Crysis in this department.

no question crysis hands down farcry 2 looks so fake next to crysis there not comparable at all. and crysis was a great game while farcry 2 was terrible even for $5 i'd have a hard time reccomendeinng it to someone.

crysis wins easily in graphics, far cry 2 looks like a cartoon. the textures in crysis are far superior, but you need a top notch PC to get crysis to really run smooth at 60FPS, that is when it shines. and the gameplay in crysis blows far cry2 away. all around crysis games are much better than far cry 2. now multiplayer far cry2 is pretty good, not bad. crysis games are legendary.

Sorry to say but Far Cry 2 is like CoD MW2 in that it has no mods and is locked down. The game would of been truly better if mods were possible to fix exactly what you are saying and so much more.

Uh, Far Cry 2 CLEARLY has better graphics than Crysis at 800x600 and low settings.. Oh, and Uncharted 2 has far more advanced graphics than Crysis. Seriously though, the atmosphere in Far Cry 2 is very immersive and is well optimized for older hardware.
