i have played 0 2008 games, so i'd have to say none. i did purchase some old games in 2008... but i'm planning on buying project origin, starcraft 2, and the stalker prequel for sure; the rest i'm gonna wait for reviews and feedback before purchasing. so my guess is that at the end of the year, starcraft 2 will end up being my fav game of 2008. that's a pretty safe bet.
I'll get back to you when the year ends and i get to play the games.. we are at the start of the year which is always a quiet period.. there are lots of upcoming games which look interesting, but i can't say if they are good since i havn't played them.
I have not even finished all the games I got last year... If I were to play any 2008 titles, I'm sure Lost Odyssey or latest Penumbra game would be my favourites.
yeah this is a bit early, i mean its only march? but yeah farcry2 looks like a winner, maybe turok... dno what will take my fancy, Australia Zoo Quest even?

For me there have been 0 games that are worth playing this year. Not into space sci-fi strategy games (DoW exp and Sins.) Those have been kind a boring 3 months. Can't play old games forever either.
Tho i like strategy. Civ series, total war series. RA2 was also good.
