FEAR vs FEAR 2 - Comparson Shots

I don't know about those FEAR 2 screenshots. I'd rather have my next Monolith game looking more like this:

I think the HUD in fear 2 is smexy. Anyways, I prefer the graphics in FEAR 2. One of the things I like are the volumetric effects( God rays). When I gone outside and I saw those volumetric effects, I came. I like the static effect too. I normally don't, but it really fits in with the game for some reason.

Actually, it's been proven that F.E.A.R. 2 for PC lacks the dynamic shadows and lighting that F.E.A.R. 1 had. From an artisitic viewpoint, it comes down to opinion, but from a technical standpoint, F.E.A.R. 2, for whatever reason, is lacking features that were present in F.E.A.R. 1. There's a video up on youtube showcasing these differences, I'm just to lazy to find it.

Any pc gamer with a good pc can easily tell that FEAR's graphics on max were technically and visually superior to FEAR2. FEAR 2 looks like a downgrade after four years of "progress".

TBH, i didn;t read this entire thread, just YOUR comments. Why? Because I have a hard time believing that we're approx the same age and yet your views on gaming, and what makes a good game, are so damn shallow. Are you sure that you're really a PC gamer and not a console fanboy impersonating one?

Actually, you should link 'the definition of stupid' to a specific post in a diff thread: the indivdual is whinning about being trapped in a dark forest, suffering from radiation posioning, bleeding to death, out of bandages and ammo, while being attacked by a pack of wild dogs.
