For $80 you should be able to getPSU with 600W instead of 500W.

Oh, and even though you're just getting one card, if you ever planned to get two and run SLI you need a PSU that supports SLI, which this one doesn't.

You can have a motherboard that is SLI and PSU that isn't, and vice versa; you just won't be able to use SLI. If you want to use SLI, you need two video cards that are the same model and a motherboard and PSU that support SLI.

Dont get that graphics card. Its not worth the $100. Seriously, if theres one thing you should spend extra money on that you will deffinitely not be disappointed on, it will be the graphics card. For you, I recommend the HD3850 for about $180. Seems that you're on a budget and it might sound expensive, but compared to the 8600 GT, you wont be sorry. Everything looks good except for the motherboard. I cant really recommend anything.

Edit: I suppose that updated motherboard looks alright. Will probably be fine for your needs.

The problem with doing that is that when new stuff comes out, you tend to get the "oh no, I wish I had bought that instead" syndrome. You'll really have to fight against that. :)

For Newegg, I suggest waiting for a good price on whatever hardware you're looking at. Seems like everytime I buy something, one thing or another goes down in price two days after I buy it. That pissed me off more than anything else. But as the tech gets older, price inevitably drops. So I know I will never get the "best" deal on anything.
