No, sometimes they never release a driver out from beta, other times all they do is put a "WHQL" stamp on it and call it official without doing much else.

I'm getting an average of 60, occasionally dipping down into the 40's. Very happy with the performance.
I just had some trouble with installing 163.44. After i installed it i pressed restart later (because i was downloading Bioshock demo), then Vista came up with a message that i didnt install properly. So then all of a sudden internet explorer had 'a problem' and had to close. Bye bye bioshock download.
I then pressed reinstall again, however half way through, a message popped up saying that the problem was that i used the 32 bit driver when my system wasnt 32 bit... well it is. It closed the install wizard so i restarted the computer. When it was booting up it siad configuring updates, this is what it says after i always install a new driver. Do you reckon it installed properly?
How do i find out what driver my system has?? I cant find it..

go to run>dxdiag
then go to display tab and under Drivers and beside version it should say 6.14.0011.6344
I got them....definitely looks crisper than the 360 version....however I am disappointed in the difference between the two versions. I believe that the 360 and PC difference is minimal honestly. I mean the biggest things are this.
360 runs at what seems to be a locked 30 FPS and the Bioshock runs muuuuch smoother
Kb/M is obviously better than the control pad
The game seems to be very well optimized....People told me I couldn't max it out on my CPU in DX 10 (which I max out a HIGH FPS actually)
Dx10 features do not stand out if they are even really there at all. I honestly couldn't tell the difference sometimes.

There isn't much going on in this game hence the reason it looks so good and plays smooth. Doesn't seem to be a game that will have many characters on screen at the same time either.
i really doubt there will be AA, because i think this engine uses deferred shading (or lighting ) and AA and AF have no effect at all, just like in stalker.
Could someone confirm for me that when you go into dxdiag the version of the latest driver (163.44) is 7.15.0011.6344 (English). This is for Vista 32bit

when that comes up your supposed to say that the driver installed correctly...
The demo version that I downloaded came with the beta drivers. I installed them but when it asked to replace some file that was newer than the source, which I thought were the beta drivers), I declined. Anyways, the game still looked amazing and performance doesn't take a hit.

What program do you use to see the FPS in games?
You can use latest version of fraps to have fps ingame, take screenshots and videos.
