FPS low on Crysis Warhead with Mid - Ranged Pc

Hey guys I bought Crysis Warhead not to long ago and my frames are pretty bad.

DX9 Good Performance goes anywhere form 12-22. I have heard of tweaks and all of that but I dont know how to do any of that can someone help please.

Specs: 5600 X2 2.8 GHZ, 4gb ram, 9800 GT 512mb

I understand im playing a difficult game. I was at least suspecting 20-35 fps. 1280 x 1024

Hmmm what settings? All high? You should probably be getting more frames than that at the rez you are playing. Updated drivers?

Hmmm then there is nothing i can think of... the only thing left is probably the hardware is not up to it... try lowering the shadows, textures etc to medium, and make sure you have AA off

what about the shape of your pc? you should probably run some cleaners. ccleaner, tuneup, some registry defraggers, hard drive defrag, and a virus scan should help a bit.

Updated your DirectX? Make sure AA isn't on in game. Set everything to "Mainstream" then work up from there.

Turn off V-sync. And turn of AA as well. Those 2 settings always cause a significant drop inFPS for most games.

it could just be youre video card...

Also! check youre Nvidia controll panel. if you try to set youre settings to quaility in the controll pannel it enables like 8x AA and 16x AF without even asking you.

Crysis warhead is pretty badwith low framerates on my system too.

ur system should be getting close to 30fps in most of the game with a 9800gt I find that warhead is alot better then the orgional crysis
