I just got Red Orchestra 2 yesterday, and it runs nowhere near as well as I had expected it to. I've always been told that running online shooters below 60FPS was kind of like fighting a losing battle. That the other players will see you before you see them, etc. Is that true? I can get RO2 up to 60fps, but my visuals really suffer.
SP doesn't matter, but if online the game doesn't play extremely smooth, especially in a game like RO2, you're fighting a losing battle. Players that react first will have a huge advantage so I guess you could say they see you before you see them.
I suppose I'll suffer through the decreased visuals and avoid sniper rifles (It's very hard to make enemies out from far away at these settings) then! Thank you for your input :D
Also, be sure to make extensive use of your mouse scroll, if you don't already, to set the approximate distance of the enemy, it helps a lot with accuracy.
