FPS with good multiplayer bot mode?

So I recently bought a gaming pc and I'm looking for a good FPS. The only thing I want in an FPS is some kind of mode like Combat Training in Black Ops were you can play multiplayer games but only against bots.

I love playing FPS games but I honestly hate the morons you are forced to play against so Combat Training like modes have allways been pretty cool for me. So can someone please suggest a game with this mode for me?

It's pretty old, but all I can think of is the Unreal Tournament series. Every game in that series has good bots.

I don't know if you consider it "bot" mode, but Ghost Recon had killer Coop that let you play the SP campaign with your buddies against the enemy AI. Then again, you could play the SP campaign yourself with AI support.

Shattered Horizon has some good bots.

Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2 are my favorites for bot matches though.

i like UT3, ut2k4 and bf2142's bots.

BF2 has bots and a LAN / internet coop mode with bots.

There are also mods that increase the number of bots to 64 or more, allow you to get weapon unlocks in single player and increased map sizes in bot matches.

BF1942 is a whole lot of fun too with bots even though it is quite old.

There is also Killing Floor, a horror fps where you can fight waves of enemies on your own, which is pretty cool.

I wish more fps games had bots in single player skirmishes and coop modes. Red Faction on the PS2 comes to mind. That was awesome.

All I can think of is Black Ops which you already mentioned.

I would recommend Section 8: Prejudice. The gameplay is very much battlefield inspired and the bots are actaully very good. You can play any mode offline, including the co-op horde mode. Make sure you get Section 8: Prejudice and not just "Section 8" because they are two different games. its some of the most fun you can have with bots.
