with my Q6600 @ 3.6ghz (3.9 is only for benching)

in DX9 under Vista 64, all settings high, 1680x1050 no AA... i get 49.7fps average.

in DX10 under Vista 64, all settings Very high, 1680x1050 no AA, i get 35fps average.

patch 1.1 with Nvidia beta 169.28's did wonders for SLI.

According to Nvidia's main website, one of this driver's highlights is:

Adds increased SLI and 3-way SLI performance in Crysis when used with the official Crysis Patch v1.1

But this made me think something like this beta driver will only make SLI work better with Crysis, while it will perform worse in other ultimate games than does the latest stable driver. May this be considered just pure speculation?

[QUOTE="Wasdie"]Latest patch and newest beta drivers from Nvidia with very high settings I get about 30fps now at a 1440x900 resolution.ElectricNZ

lol used to have same rig as you. got the g92 gts now, can do the same settings with 30 fps @ 1680x1050

This is a decent rig, especially for how much I paid for it.

My system runs at a steady 30+fps, all setting high DX9(shaders set on very high using cfg.file mods). My frame rates holds even during explosive firefights and heavy environment deformation. This game is absolutly slick, and my computer has no problems even though it was built as an engineering developing system, not a gaming platform. I think people should stop complaining about its high end requirments, my comp only cost ~1700 after tax and functions great. I know that is still a sizable chunk of cash, but it's nothing compaired to the cost of "Ultimate gaming systems" I see advertised. Also, if you can't pay, you can't play. That's how the world works. If you don't like your lot in life, get a 60 hour a week job and an annoying boss. You'll soon be laughing off the bills. Of course, actualling getting the time to have fun with your toys becomes the problem:) q6600 quad core@ 2.4 GHz, 3.0 DDR2 ram, MSI NX8800GT, 22" samsung

My display is 1680x1050 nat but running crysis is not a very good idea in that resolution so I use 1024x768 for it. Higher resolution on and med - low graphs or lower res with all on high? The latter wins.

I'd say my average fps is around 30 but it may dip to 20 or so. Winter maps forces me to drop shaders to low in order to get steady 30 fps.

the fps can easily drop to 10 in most places, when i had a 8800 gtx anyway on medium settings.

I dont play the game, way too laggy.. i cant see how anybody can enjoy it, there is no hardware to take advantage of the game and the game isnt nearly as optimized enough.
