I have an alienware m15x and all of my games are having framerate issues, even at less demanding settings. Can this be fixed or is this a serious issue?

I think that GPU is a bit weak for games. So if youre playing new games and trying to max them on that, then it could be the problem. What kinda games are you running? and what settings?
And what do you mean by less demanding settings? medium?
Scan for viruses. Force shutdown will do no damage to the computer FYI.All of this started happening after Fallout New Vegas crashed at a loading screen. I couldnt do anything, not even task manager, so I had to do a force shutdown. After that, all of this happened. Is it possible thatis the problem?

Old drives can cause game crashes but that rarely happens. Most of the time it is FPS drops.I am updating my drivers, Is it possible that drivers are the problem if some games work and some dont? If it was a driver issue, none of the games would work. Or would they?

Lets hope that it was something that screwed up when the update was interrupted in the drivers. Cause then reinstalling drivers would fix it. Lets see what happens...
If it comes to the worst scenario, you could just reinstall windows all over again. Don't do that yet though... leave that as a last resort.
