Frontlines: Fuel of War - What do we think?

According to Amazon.co.uk and Game.co.uk Frontlines comes out tomorrow (friday) for the PC/360. I'm considering buying it but don't know what the thoughts are on this game

So, whats your opinion and will you be buying it?

No Red Star SP campaign - I'm not getting the game out of principle...and maybe the shortage of money.

So far it's just a freaking disaster. Horrible launch, I mean really really bad. No anti-cheat support or dedicated server support. The patch that just came out earlier is not even on the servers that the developers have up. Only there euro servers have them and it's impossible to connect to them without getting one of the many server bugs. The browser is like a console game browser. Gunplay is poor, every gun has a scope and they feel really week when shot. It's better to hip shot rather than aim anyway. Seriously.

Maps are heavy with debris, which causes some lag. Tons of visual bugs. So far I feel that the classes and roles are just plain. I'm already fed up with everything. This game really could have benefited from unlocks and persistent stats like battlefield has. In-game communication is horrible. You share the kill board with the chat board, and to add to that the font is insanely small. They should have scrapped the single-player and focused on mp entirely. That's how it' going right now.

I'm not getting it, have you seen today's fuel prices? Haha!

Eh the game is very upsetting to me. I was looking forward too it very much. The new patch which I mentioned above has borked multiplayer. Tons of people are having problems joining games. My favorite part so far about this game. RC toys. :D Also if you are wondering why the game looks like that is because it's poorly optimized so I had to turn everything down.

Well, I like the game. I quite enjoyed the beta as well. Then again, I've really ignored most FPS's for a year now. CoD4, Crysis, and Frontlines have been a nice return to the FPS front to me for the past couple of months. I'm able to run Frontlines with everything maxed at 1680 x 1050 with no problems as well as join server games with no issues. So far the game has been good to me. I'm sure that given a few days, the devs will patch again and those who are having issues will be fixed and those of us who are running it fine will begin to have issues. Seems to be the way it always goes.
