So any chance of a sequel being made? Was hoping 1nsane2 would be a nice open world dirt racer but it turned out linear arcard crap worse than the first.

Don't see why they couldn't use the FUEL engine, add in some better physics, cockpit view and maybe some added things to achieve for the ADD crowd.

Loved FUEL even with its quirks but there just aren't any good sim dirt racers. :(

Would love to see a Baja game where you have to manage and maintain the car across an open world like FUEL.

Yeah, I totally loved it and would be interested in seeing a second one, although they'll have to be creative with the game world if they want to avoid repeating themselves. Maybe they could capitalise upon the science fiction/alternative reality concept a bit more. I'd also like those extreme weather effects (tornadoes etc.) in free-roaming mode, and not just in scripted races. Oh, and perhaps most importantly: they REALLY need to fix the engine sounds. Especially most of the bikes sounded pathetic.

But yeah, I loved FUEL. It had its quirks, but it had me hooked for weeks, if not months. It had a great look and driving through the game world, even without a specific goal, had an almost meditative effect.

I guess by the lack of posts people pretty much hate open world dirt racers.

Oh well, maybe someday I'll be rich and can make my own game.
