Thats difficult for me to say today, because even when i play games like far cry, doom3 and quake 4 i still get amazed at the graphics in those games and that will properly not go away even though the standard could someday be photorealisic graphics,which i think would be kinda boring :) Games would loose their charm if they looked to real. But all im saying is those games fra 2004 and up have realitic lighthing, great detail, bumpmapping so the environment looks real, so its hard to think of those as ugly games now, when they well arent ugly.

Oh god, so many games. Urrr, ok I'm gonna put a small list rather than selecting an or inspiring one. There not in any order and I'll also place comments next to the ones that look better than there console counter parts. CoH Fear(looks quite better than 360) Oblivion(looks a tad better on PC) Source engine games Rainbow Six Vegas(only played on my 360 but I've been told it looks better on PC, please correct me if I'm wrong) Urrr.. I'm missing some but I really can't think of any right now. But above all you can call someone a graphics wh**e for liking games like this but in truth these games aren't just graphics.
On max settings, BF2, BF2142, FEAR, and a few others look the best. Gears of War looks good, but it's horrible texture filtering and lack of quality anti-aliasing make it not as good.
Since it isn't out yet, we can't know for sure that the graphics in Crysis truly are the best. As of right now, I think GRAW might be the winner (for PC, not x360).DGFreak
You mean the graphics on the PC is better than on the 360 or....? Best graphics at the moment i would say is Gears of War hands down. But if its only for PC then i would say prolly R6:V
I'm not quite convinced about the whole GoW being the best looking game on everything. Don't get me wrong it does look amazing and its lots of fun to play. But the shadows, esspecially on there faces is very flickery that it actualy draws your attention, thats my only beef about it and I know its small but its the small thing that shows up the most. I've noticed this a bit in Oblivion but not quite as bad, the faces and models just tend to have shadows in wierd places on Oblivion.
lol best is most definitely NOT GRAW, I run that on absolute max settings with AA and AF, Rainbow Six Vegas is pretty much the same but BETTER. Splinter Cell Double Agent also looks better. GRAW textures are real bland.ElectricNZ

They really don't need him - CoJ has some brilliant voice-acting, especially Reverend Ray's voice. Oh, and the game recreates many of the great Spaghetti Western cliches - you'll be encountering train robbers, rebellious miners, chasing wagons on horseback, getting into fistfights and duels - and one of the multiplayer modes revolves around bank robbery! well from the graphics in teh trailer it looks beuifal but ive played those exact levels in the demo and it didnt look nearly as good. oh and running maxed out 2
