I use gameranger sometimes to play old ghost recon 1 games with friends, it works very well. Also some friends of mien cannot connect onlien for terraria on steam so we have used gameranger for that also. Also some of my older games that dont have servers.
If you are asking about pirated games on there, I have no clue, have not tried.
its about what u think, its not about my reasons, I am only asking what do you think about this. Shatilov

say what?
do you think that these programs, should have a way to verify if a game is legit or not ?ShatilovI think its in their best interest to not have any verification if they want there program to continue gaining popularity. I'm sure a large majority of gameranger,tunngle,etc... are people who haven't obtained there games in a legal fashion, so if they did end up inserting some kind of verification to check if the game is a legit copy, they would be losing a large percentage of people who use there program.
If there will be a decision to make these programs being able to detect if a game is genuine or not, another program for LAN/VPN will appear. For example Hamachi is made to make possibe a LAN over the internet - VPN - not for games only, so nobody can make them to make a "games policy". Best/worst thing that can happen is to force GameRanger devs to change its name.
