While im playing a game, all of a sudden the graphics get all messed up and the computer freezes. I just built this computer, so it really could be a multitude of problems. My graphics card is a PNY geforce 7600 gs, and im pretty sure ive got the newest drivers.

help is truely appreciated.

Your card probably overheated. I think you can check the temp on the card if you go to graphics options, because i have the same card, but so far no problems. Maybe you should lower the grpahic setting a little.

those temps aren't anything to worry about, you would want to know the temps under load though. Use a tool like rivatuner to record them while you play or do a benchmark run.

get some fans...or a better heatsink to keep it cool while gaming.  sounds like your system (speciffically your video card) is just overheating.  if you're overclocking...you need good cooling.  idle temps difer from those while gaming.

close all background tasks like anti virus these can make games freeze up. as for the video card get a pci duct and put it into the spare pci slot under your graphics card and fill all the spare fan slots on your case with large fansÂ
