Games that can stand the test of time!!

Games that would really stand the test of time and replayability that forever wont get bored

To me the games are

Diablo 2

Sims

Theif

and probably spore

just to list a few examples

List games to you that that wont ever get bored to you^^!!

Spore will, i wanted online to be able to fight/play with your friends y'know, not just share some creatures :/.

But Warcraft, for sure.

HalfLife Series, portal, Age of Empires 2, Diablo series, starcraft, Counterstrike1.6 ..., Quake 3, Battlefield 2(as long as there is online), The Sims2ColdfireTrilogy

Half-Life 1 is really outdated and not a good game by today's standards, it also wasn't that great of a game game by the standards from the time when it was released, Portal is not that good also, the only thing about it was the portal technology which will probably become dated by the time that we are making real portals ourselves =P, Starcraft is also a game that has outdated gameplay mechanics, really... really outdated gameplay mechanics.

And how come nobody mentioned Fallout 1/2 yet? It's an awesome RPG with more RPG elements then most RPG's nowadays.

Ok, but HL2 and the episodes are great games that are still fun today. And Starcraft, well, I don't need to tell you how many people are still playing that game like CRAZY today, do I? So those definitely stand the test of time.

Portal is a clever game and a lot of fun, but I agree, in 4 or 5 years, no one will be playing it or talking about it.

How can you name a game that you haven't even played and probably isn't even in beta? And only time can tell.

Tetris, Deus Ex, CS:S, Starcraft, Diablo 2, The Sims 2 and System Shock 2, those are old games that i still play alot.
