Joint Task Force The reviews of this game are terrible.. I rather enjoyed it.. Also some people have trouble running it. Course I patched it..
Gothic 3.. for some reason people have trouble running this game with decent fps and have numberous graphical glitches.. I have not had a problem with it at all.. *shrugs* guess I am one of the lucky ones.. BTW, I haven't even patched the game!
Another game is Tron 2.0, which I thought was the best graphical game when it was released... I guess I just loved the movie..
Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe got bad reviews.. but I loved the compilation.. most all of it! And they play great even on a keyboard! Dunno why people had trouble with it... guess the whole "starforce protection" was a big turnoff.. but I've had it on my comp for more than a year with no ill effects to my DVD/CD-ROM drives.... *shrugs* I guess I'm just Mr. Luck when it comes to getting games to run without problems :P
The whole close combat series. Early ones got good reviews but I havent been able to get any of my mates to play it. They all get bored out of their minds.
I like a lot of the games mentioned so dont know what that says about my tastes.

Yeah, the controls for Oni were weird on the PC. LoL you almost punched a 7-year-old. Excellent :D
Bouncer was for the PS2, right? I rented that a few years ago. It was all right.
Weird, several people mentioned El Matador, and I do too. Sounds like not everyone hated it then... Also, I loooved Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. I found it ten times better than Call of Duty (aaaargh I'm getting so flamed already my body is starting to itch all over).

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, although terribly linear, had some great levels. Call of Duty was great too. Call of Duty: United Offensive, and Call of Duty 2 were borderline terrible.
I think I liked it only because it was easier to make money than in Sim City 4, but it was still a lot of fun.
Also, WoW...ya, I know there are 7+ million subscribers but if you go solely by what you read on the Gamespot forums you'd think you were playing a game built by Satan, crack dealers, and Enron.
Brigade E5: New Jagged Union. Sure, the campaign is crap but the underlying tactical combat engine is very well done. Vietcong 2. Not as good as the original but still a lot of fun.
Postal 2, ridiculously underrated by professional reviewers. It was quite possibly the most hilariously fun, and politically incorrect game ever made. :D
i know a lot of people who hate manhunt and postal2 but in my opinion those game are great couz of 2 much violence. cant wait for manhunt 2 and postal 3:)
startrek legacy, dark mesiah, ricochet, avp2 (i dont know if ppl hate it but like no one plays it anymore), soldat(my friends hate it), historychanel civil war (i dont love it but its a fun game), DEFCON (SUCH A SICK GAME), ragdoll kungfoo, red orchistra
