Games with a rich singleplayer and storyline

Assassins Creed is amazing, can't wait for the second one.

Half-Life 1/2 w/ episodes, Portal, Crysis, Fallout 1 and 2, Diablo 1 and 2.

why the peoples are really concentrating on FPS shooters? it will bring you fun and some games are scary but not strong story line..only action adventure games would be the best if your looking for strong story base game play i would prefer for action adventure o..Shooting game are like when you start the game you don't why would you start from there point exactly..Story base games are Godfather, Mafia and off course GTA 4 Very strong story base game

Good to see some people are mentioning Mafia. It had a very good story for a video game, assuming you want the story told to you instead of making it up yourself.

Homeworld has an amazing story.

That's a stereotype. I have a lot of friends that don't know jack about Star Wars, and they're American. BTT: I would suggest Bioshock, Ranbow Six Vegas 1+2, Prey, Brothers in Arms series, Assassin's Creed, and Fallout 3(although it is an FPSRPG).

That's another stereotype. We know about lightsaber thingys, good guys, and Darth Vader, but we don't know much and we don't live under rocks(That's Bob. Mike lives in a box and I live in a trash truck. WHOO!!! FREE GARBAGE!!!)

Brothers in arms hells highway had a great story and the gameplay was fantastic. I was really hooked on that singleplayer for quite some time and i loved the cover system and i acutally loved the whole game together. I really couldnt say enough good things about that game.

Yes. Amazing game. Have it on 360 and love the story. Way better game than the Call of Duty games. Everything was awe-inspiring.
