Star Wars: Dark Forceskdawg88I don't see how this couldn't be a classic in any anyone's books. One of the first epic star wars games, along with Tie Fighter.

Not in my book. I played it sure, but it was a borefest.
Yeah its not for everyone. Although a quick question: Did you play it when it came out? Or is it something you tried later on? I tend to dislike games that were supposedly awesome but have been around for a while. Case in point: I never picked up the original Bioshock, but decided to give it a try recently...and was left a little underwhelmed. I remember System Shock so well with its awesome atmosphere and story arc. But Bioshock just didn't do it for me. And yet its a good many people's favorite game of all time. *shrugs* Would be a boring world if we were all the same wouldn't it? :PPC: Hexen, Heretic, and Blood.
Console: Final Fantasy Tactics (bought a PSP just for the remake) and Shining Force II.
- Arx Fatalis - Need for Speed: High Stakes - Star Wars: Republic Commando - Mechwarrior 3 - Nox - Freedom Forceflipin_jackass
There was talk awhile back about remaking Freedom force my fav comic book game of all time..Mechwarrior 4 is on its way an im excited...
I love the PSP version - it has IMO the best localisation of any Japanese game, although it does completely rip off Shakespeare.PC: Hexen, Heretic, and Blood.

1. Army menkdawg88
Classic, total classic. I used to play it as a kid.
The Neverhood, Star Wars: Dark Forces, Ricochet and Liero to name a few.
Neverhood. YES. Also Descent I and II. They seem so forgotten. Oh, and System Shock 1. Everyone remembers 2, but poor 1 gets no recognition. Crappy sprites have never been more terrifying.A Oldy that gets looked over but in essence is the Father of the Real Time tower Defense/ Castle Defense strategy game ... "Dominus"
Outlaws. Redneck Rampage. Duke Nukem 1+2 (Duke Nukem 3D is a obvious classic) Atleast as far as First Person Shooters go.Treflis
The Temple of Elemental Evil. It's a great game (patched and restored) and it has possibly the best combat and definitely the best implementation of the D&D rule-set in any RPG. It's a shame they don't make RPGs like that anymore.
Also a few that aren't exactly ignored, but not nearly as revered as they should be:
Caveland
The Incredible Machine 3
Gizmos & Gadgets
All obscure as hell games that I've played when I was a kid.
