Lately I've been getting a error pop up that says something like "Do you want to stop script" with the option of choosing "stop" or "continue" when I'm at gamespot, sometimes my web browser will even stop responding and I have to ctrl-alt-del it to death.it only happens at gamespot, Is it just me or is this happening to others?

I'm using a old 1ghz computer. Maybe its not fast enough for gamespot anymore?

Gamespot is a pretty...weird site. No, a 1GHz CPU is fine for gamespot; I sometimes surf Gamespot on a dual cpu180MHz Pentium Pro rig from '95. Yet, scrolling up and down forces the CPU in my modern Opteron machine to max out, causing the fan to rev up.

And yes, GS crashes my browser regularly. :P

Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

When someone creates a poll, if you want to see the results or refresh it can show you that type of mistakes.

If your using Firefox maybe you could have that NoScript extenstion thats asking to block it. Just disable it or uninstall the extention if thats the case.

I use Opera and I encounter no problem yet. You should change your browser to see if is crashing anyway

I've gotten the "script has stopped" popup as well. It's never crashed my browser...yet...but page load times are so sloooooow... I often reload them if they take too long. Mayhap an overloaded server?

FF - version2.004
