Gaming laptop suggestions?

For graduation I am getting a new laptop for around $2,000 (give or take $250). Are there any suggestions as to where I should look? What are the good companies to buy from?

lol yeah you shouldn't even consider a mac if you are planning to game on it (i have nothing against macs i am not a pc fanboy in fact i own a mac book) a mac book pro is 2k for that money you can buy an alienware m17x that could trounce a macbook pro
