Gears of Wars Problems

Gears stutters, tears, slows...it's really weird.

I have all the latest windows live/gears updates

My system can run unreal 3 at all the highest settings

Phenom9100e

BFG Nvidia 8800gt

4gb Ram

Vista 64

I have to turn so many settings down it makes me sad, any ideas?

almost everyone with mid range PCs had stuttering problem...

First you need to apply Patches otherwise your game WILL crash in 1 level.... i don't remember which one was that. but it will crash.

Then go to this page do exactly as written over there. Those Tweaks were posted by some guy named OoSuperMarioO in his blog, it really helped me fix this stuttering issue.. works well.
