i havent played either on xbox and ive been watching RVB and thats making me wanna play halo and i wanna have a good online experince so which game should i get.
Personally I think Gears has a MUCH better singleplayer campaign. Hell, I tried playing through the first few levels of Halo 3 and got bored as hell and had to stop. Multiplayer however... I've always prefered the Halo series, although Gears does provide an excellent online portion as well, although the online PC community is rather... pathetic.
I recently played Halo 3 (a bit boring after a while, but a decent game) and then Halo CE with my brother. I forgot how good the first game was back in the day. The SP in Halo is ten times better than Gears imo. More fun, sometimes hard as hell and a much better story imo. Well, at least on the Xbox. Gears does not have a story or dialog worth listening to. It's all: "Damn!" "huh?" "Grunt!" "Wooo!". Not the most intelligent characters in a video game.
GoW for single-player and co-op. Halo 3 if you are a fanboy or just love the online play. After beating it on 2 skill levels it was obvious they focused primarily on MP and SP suffered as a result.

enough people probaly play it, alot ofXbox-ers want to play with their friends on the P.C who nevery had an xbox (plus I heard that the PC version lets you jump higher adding an instant advantage)

I didn't think you could jump any higher than he already can.
