can the 7600 still play heavy games like SCDA, FEAR, R6V etc without having to use minimum stettings??sZZZlepy_101

im going to halfto say that with the new games theyv come out with will not be able to run max on a 7600GT probbly medium low unless you go SLI with themÂ
7600GT is the definition of bang for the buck ;) It won't max any of the newer games out for sure...but anything a year or two old it will handle with grace and dignity.
I have a 7600GT for my computer with dual core 3.0Ghz processors, and 1GB ddr2 ram. I can run Battlefield 2142 on high, sims 2 on high, world of warcraft on high, oblivion on medium but I upped all setting but shadows and runs fine, so I'd say it's pretty good, but I'd get something more powerful for the future though.
By the way no SLI, just oneÂ
You sure.I thought the two GPUs had equivalent statistics.[QUOTE="jongaska"]Ive got a 7900GS which is equivalent to a 7600GT.I can play fear with a minimum of 45 Frames per second, max of 125.Future games will tax the gpu more and more though.hofuldig

LOL A 7900GS is way better than a 7600GT. WAY BETTER!Â
Does anyone here use a 7600GT playing Battlefield 2? If so, how many frames per second do you get out of it?
Â
Yeah the 7600GT is good but its not really that good of a card now on wow, fear and stuff its fine on oblivion its hard to get good frames without a dual-core cpu and it wont play dx10 you will be alot better of getting a 8600gts but if its just fear and wow ya wanna play the 7600GT is fine. oh and im pretty sure a 7900GS can beat 2 7600GT's.runejedi
The 7600's are based on the same g73 chipset as thr 7900's and if you sli two 7600 gt's they will outperform a single 7900gs
