Hello everonye. Ive finally made up my mind and im gona get a new mobo and chipset most likly core i7 and a asus mobo tell me wut u think:

The second motherboard is the one with crossfire, its funny it didnt say in the specs but Im assuming since it comes with a crossfire bridge. The first board is an SLi board. Just on a side note, i would go for a Gigabyte board, for $20 less you can get the GA-X58-EXTREME

ahh kk then ill add the second board to my wish list lol i might go with the 920 just so i can add a 4870x2 xD

i agree with you, get the 920, the 940 is a waste if you ask me, but i love overclocking,

so i'd get the 920, and the you should get a 4870x2 :)

possibly, I;ve read that the Core i7 is kinda bad on overclocking but I dont think so, I just think people haven't pushed it hard enough. Since these new X58 boards come with new BIOS, people have to learn how to OC again, when people get good with it we should see more 4+Ghz OC's so yeah i think you can, you just have to sit with it for a while

well i know two forums that pushed past 4.0ghz 4.2 is the highest so ima deffinetlly going to save the money and get it im still getting phome 2 also so im not ditching amd either :p
