Looking for a sub £200 gfx can i do any better than this LINK

At the moment i have 2 HD 4850s crossfire and i`m my oppinion isn worth a f..k, every game i have tried has had issues with crossfire, battlefield 3 crashes within 10 seconds, LA Noire runs at half the fps when xfire is selected, gta 4 was being a d..k for ages before a patch, flight sim x runs **** with it aswell.... have i just had a bad time or is it like this for everyone? does sli have these problems aswell?

And before anyone says its your drivers, i`m now on the 8th day trying to get bf3 working with xfire with no luck... tried every combo of drivers and caps with clean installs. For the games i play i`m using only one card so whats the point in having 2.

All i can say is that i will never have 2 gpus in a system again and might even stear clear of ati/amd gpu`s :(

***haha, i went on a bit of a rant there***

**why cant i put £ signs in the topic title?**

hd 4800 series cards lost cfx driver support a while ago.. thatd be why way to not bother reading your patch notes brother XDand thats the bottom line!

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-036-HS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752hd 6950 /w free copy of deus ex: human revolution 200 pound after the VAT

for 200 pound on the nvidi side of the table you can get a gtx 560ti and get a little worse preformance and no free game :(

and to answer your question dual-gpu and sli owners have basically the same problems as you do. maybe different games giving problems but same problems none the less. amd droppedm the 4800 series and going back off the cfx driver support lists a while ago due to radical changes they made from the 5000 series and onward.

Grab the GTX 480 while you can it runs as fast as a GTX 570 and can be had for £179 from overclockers - LINK. Thats £60 cheaper than a GTX 570 and HD 6970 for the same performance.

Its by far the best GPU to get if your in the UK at want a card for less than £200.

If that doesn't interested you(don't know why) then don't buy anything and just sit back and wait till April.

You will kick your self silly when the GTX 660 and HD 7850/70 cards come out and start a price war.

The GTX 560ti is more or less as powerful as a HD 6950 and a lot cheaper. The HD 6950 is £200 and Nvidias GTX 560ti "448" is £200 and whipes the floor with the HD 6950 and goes toe to toe with the HD 6970.
