Agreed it is a great system... untill you look at the price, really I dont know what people do with these systems since you can play the same games on the same resolutions and settings as a system that will cost around 1200USD mainly because it will have the same card/cards and that system doesn't even include one.

570 for a mother board... spend that on the card and get a motherboard for 200 and see what happens. It may cost 1/3 more but it wont give it a 1/3 more performance if you dont know what your doing.

btw, to above posters, 2000 is a lot to spend on a computer, but when you start adding in things like solid state drives, monitor, gaming headphones, blu ray drive, 2000 doesnt seem like that much (especially with dollars). i guess i slightly regret skimping a bit on my computer, ive had to replace my psu which was annoying. and my mobo isnt the best, p5q pro, only has 8x crossfire, which isnt a big deal, but i think its worth spending extra so that you dont have to worry about your pc failing or whatever, and can spend more time ocing or gaming etc

i usually go by this rule : 1. get the best single gpu you can, dont get SLI. too expensive and not efficient enough. you can get the next gen or 2 gen best single slot when they come out and be better off than blowing a lot of money on 2 of the best singles. ( trust me , i got two 9800gtx's, i wont ever again, not that SLI dosnt work, but it wasnt worth the money) 2. well you should jst get the intel i7 920. its such a good price, not worth getting the higher models 3. get a 200-300 dollar mobo. a good one goes a long way. 4. go to one of those psu websites and find out what you need for power, then get 100-150 watts over that to future proof and to be safe. get a PSU that has a good name, dont skimp out here. not a good idea. 5. get a big case. antec is pretty much the best, a antec psu would be a good combo here since you know itll fit perfectly in your case. 6. 4 or 6 or 8 ( whatever ) gigs of corsair or the other top company's ram... u dont need high end ram, just get the well priced stuff, you shouldnt spend more than 70 bucks on ram 7. western digital new black hard drive 8. get a creative sound card, not too expensive, but they really do make your sound quality better, EAX is cool and it takes load off the cpu and mobo .. yay. 9. thats it.nimatoad2000
