I think I want to get another 560Ti for my system and SLI them soon. But the thing is my motherboard right now isn't SLI compatible so I will need to get one of those too. I want one that will work very well for the lowest cost. A common question yes I know.

Changing your mobo to a sli one isn't worth it,imo. Sell your card and get a better single one.

I was also thinking about this too. But would say a single 580 or 590 be better than SLI 560's?

Sli 560> 580 Considering a GTX 580 is close to ~400$ when it'd cost you ~230$ for the extra 560 and ~150$ for the mobo

I can get an MSI 560 Ti for 130 euro. but im a noob with SLI stuff so would an MSI 560 Ti work with a gigabyte 560 Ti? does it matter as long as they are both same model?

Yes, it will work, brands don't matter, has to be the same model though.

Looks great for the price. Also I am always confused about the bandwidths on the PCI slots. What do they mean exactly? like the x16 and x8 stuff

That's the speed of fast they go, avoid x4 since I hear it's the slowest and would have an impact since it can't keep up with x16 and x8. I hear x8 isn't that much slower unless you play at really high res above 1920x1200. x16 is the best though since there's no limits.

What socket are we talking about here? Can't recommend a mobo if we don't know the socket.

so it an Am3 which mean you are looking for a 990FX am3+ compatible mobo if you want to upgrade to Bulldozer in future if interested

else stick with AM3 ATX supporting SLI and upgrade mobo / cpu within 2-3 year

but imo considering a 150$ mobo feature sli / crossfire in the am3+ support (990FX) it considered a good solution for those who ever want to buy an AMD bulldozer at 180-250$ because according leak & Amd Market Board an Phenom II X6 1100T or X4 975 is still up to 75% weaker then Amd Bulldozer in the 7 AAA title Tested in there non accurate benchmark

lol it comapred Core i7 980X stock Versus AMD Bulldozer FX 8 Core which is not that accurate because Core i5 2400 stock is faster then i7 980X stock but the fact the fps where this high reveal bulldozer might be good afterall

Bulldozer should lauch within 2 week of now globally just letting you know : up to you which motherboard you buy look around motherboard support Am3+ if you are interrested in UEFI (which replace bios) and Am3+ Bulldozer Support

Good advice, I think getting an AM3+ mobo is the way to go. It would be slightly financially stupid to get something less at this stage. Why limit myself right? Right now its easy to say I won't get Bulldozer anytime soon but that could change completely in a month. So I will probably get a compatibale motherboard for them.

Now another question is, I have a Gigabyte SOC version now of the 560 Ti so should I just get another normal 560 Ti and OC myself or get another one thats already OC'ed? If you know what I mean

Wouldn't a non FX be good as well? What would be the point of getting a non FX AM3+ mobo if it doesn't support Bulldozer cpus? Plus the bios updates show that they do hopefully.

FX is still better though.
