I have a grosely out of date computer and was hoping you could recomend some games

My rig is:

radeon 9250

512mb of ram

2.4 ghz processor

I prefer FPS and RPG games but HATED wow

Check out the original Gothic if you can still find it. That is an amazing RPG game, but a bit out-dated. Pick up the back catelog package at steampowered.com and play original cs and tfc.

pick half life 2. it can pretty much run on anything these days and still looks darn good.

UT series? There are countless different genres, so I'm not too sure what kinds of games you're looking for.

You can't do much better than Fallout 1 and 2. Best games ever made, in my opinion.
