The new place Im moving to faces a big street which obviously has a lot of traffic noise during the day and on top of that I have neighbors below me + beside me. :\

So, this leaves you guys/gals to help me pick a can to deal with the problem! $30-$120, Im hoping to not spend close to my limit since money is a bit tight with that from being a student :(

Some of the cans on my list that im interested in are rx700 jvc, koss, audio technica sj11 sj55 es7, sony 7506 v6... thats what I gathered so far. As for as my usage I tend to game on fps and listen to bubblegum pop, r&b, ballad, rap, and j/k rock etc. The cans will be connected thru speaker port that hooks up to an old creative soundcard.

Audio Technica ES7. Closed, small and very portable( cable is the most noninterfering cable ever), VERY goodlooking. Good sound: nice bass, somewhat recessed mids, and nice highs which aren't bright at all. They've got a pretty nice sound signature, easy to drive

I'd go with the HD-280 good sounding headphones that may not be the most comfortable for prolonged use but will block alot of noise.

I see a pair of es7 on ebay for $80, but im afraid that they could be fakes. The price is a bit low, though Im aware these models have reached this price in the states, but I dont think white ones ever came here.. i think, base on my research so far.

If anything I think Im going to order off of accessoryjack or amazon. The cans dont actually have to be portable, but I guess for prolonged hours comfort come into play so anything from small to medium is okay. Also, as long as the sound doesnt leak to the point where my family/neighbors can hear me between the walls.

Thanks for the contrib, yeah I like the sticky, but I like the more unique models apart from the ones here that are alrdy recommended.

I see ad900 for $120 new, and es55 es7 for around the same price. I am just looking for a second opinion apart from my own search to give a dealbreaker to my decision.

As far as absolute best sound quality goes the AD900s will probably sound superior to the ES55s or ES7s
