I was just wondering if there's any good mods for S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl?:)
I've been playing the game without any, and decided it's time to find some mods to make the expierence better.

I have LURK. Its pretty good and from what I can remember it makes the game harder as well as adding in a bunch of stuffIantheoneJust exactly what does it do/change?
The complete mod is all you will need, it is hands down the best, ask anyone on here.Nick3306It's not, it's just a compilation of a few mods that improves visuals and fixes some stray bugs. If you want a slightly improved vanilla experience, then Complete is one of the better options. If you want the atmosphere and the base with tweaked mechanics and various additions there's mods which go in all different directions. You've got AMK, OGSE, Oblivion Lost, LURK, Redux, Supermod Pack, Faction Wars, SGM, and the list goes on and on. Your best bet is to head to the GSC forums and just look through and see what mod you want.

There were too many monsters around and it ruined the atmosphere and feeling of being alone, and honestly, most of the monsters in the game aren't very fun to kill.
Complete 2009 and Oblivion lost are my favorites.
LURK is also quite good.
While Complete aim to recreate the base game, just slightly tweaked better looking, and less quirks, both OL and LURK aim for the same kind of thing, enabled things in the code, new weapons, pretty sure there are blowouts in both, more types of enemies (althoI could do without most of those -.-)

Hence why I said the mods go in all different directions. Don't like the mass mutant and faction wars, try Redux and LURK. Plenty of choices that change the game if one is looking for something other then a vanilla experience.
