I tried downloading it on here, but once it finished, something messed up and it doesn't work. Fileplanet requires a subscription. Can someone link a nice place to download the new patch?
Personally, Gamespot is the best place to get the dowloads.  Are you sure you downloaded the correct version like perhaps you downloaded the UK version when you have the US game version or vice versa?  Although, I had a similar problem and all I did was redownload the file and then it worked fine.  So check if you have the right version and if you do, just redownload the file.  If that doesn't work, then I'm sorry but I can't help you.
