Neither. But Fable, based on what I've seen from the streams looks like a good purchase and a proper sequel. Foblivion on the other hand confirms that Bethsoft really doesn't know how to do games that are not Oblivion anymore. And that they have focused on less demanding console market. Like Oblivion only mods can save Foblivion now. Although I have no doubt that all these objective journalists will sing praises to Bethsof's latest masterpiece.zhivago_x

Fable 2 even though it isn't even on the PC, if for nothing more than the fact that Fallout 3 loses points because it's level cap was stupid, and the environments were ugly. And not the good post-apocalyptic ugly, I mean the bad "Oh look, another copy of the same poorly-designed dead tree and ruined house I've passed ten million times" ugly.

Neither. One of GTA 4, MGS 4, or Gears 2 will likely win (I'd put my money on GTA 4, considering it got more 10s across the media than MGS did), with something like LittleBigPlanet or Left 4 Dead as the dark horses (though I saw a site recently - I think it was IGN, but I forget if it was or not - that picked Sins of a Solar Empire as their GOTY... though it might have been their PC GOTY only, as opposed to overall GOTY).

I have both Fable & Fallout, and if the choice were between the two, I would easily pick Fallout. Fable 2's story falls apart in the end (I haven't thought a game had such a lame ending since... well, ever. Even Halo 2 had a better ending than Fable 2 did.) While Fable 2 is definitely an improvement on the first game, and has its moments, it's still very flawed. Fallout, on the other hand, is great. I really don't get the hate it gets, or the "Oblivion with guns" criticisms. What's wrong with that?
