what does mean when a card has 128 or 256 bit?
I was looking through some gfx cards when I came across the radeon hd 5750 and it has 128bit as a Memory Interface?

The HD 5750 has a 128-Bit memory interface of GDDR5. GDDR5 has double the memory bandwidth over GDDR3.
If your looking at a HD 5 series get a 5770. If you don't have a lot of money then just go with HD 4770 instead.
All these tech specs, but in the end, isn't it all about real world performance, where the 5750 is more powerful than the 4850/4770? Although you might have a point in terms of value for money. The HD 5750 has a 128-Bit memory interface of GDDR5. GDDR5 has double the memory bandwidth over GDDR3.

That is the bandwith of the memory, so 256 has twice the bandwith of the 128.wooooodeBut 128-Bit GDDR5 has the same bandwidth or MORE than 256-Bit GDDR3.
I wouldn't get a 5750 though and there are going to be as many DX11 games in the next 2 or 3 years as there are DX10 games AND DX11 is backwards compatible with DX10.1, DX10 and DX9.
256-bit gddr5 has twice the bandwidth of 128-bit gddr5Joe77Do not flame a mistype, you know what I meant. Flaming will get you an infraction.
