They are equal but that doesn't mean that they'll pump out as nice of graphics, PS3 graphics will look nicer than the 7800gt no matter what.
That's because Developers can utilize the PS3 and all it's features but can't for a graphics card because they have to make the games fun on tons of different graphics cards.

Well here are some ones that I would suggest, as you can see, a $120 difference, get the 320 if you play at 1280 x 1024 or close to that.
