I am looking to buy a graphics card for my new PC but not sure which to get. I have an AMD 7850 BE processor and a corsair TX650 power supply. I am looking at this one. It is a XFX GTX 260 card. On the sticky it ranks around the ATI HD4870 and they are the same price. Will both of these cards run games at near high setting at 1360x768 and which one should I get?

If you can wait a little longer, then I'd recommend holding out until the new dx11 cards come out. That way you won't have to upgrade again for a while. If you get the gtx 260, sure you'll have a good video card, but you won't be able to take advantage of all the dx11 features that might be available in some games to come.

Both are great cards that can run all but the most taxing games at high settings at that res. Its all up to whether you have a brand preference and/or the best deal you find.

Take my word for it and do not buy a factory overclocked card. Especially not one from XFX. From my experience, they all have stability issues.
