Hey everyone, I'm looking to build a good gaming computer. So, I've got $2500 to spend. Anyone think they can help me out and find all the parts I need for one? It would be greatly appreciated, this is the first time I've tried to make one from ground up, so you think you guys could help me out?
you can build a pretty kick a$$ PC with $2500. try finding the parts yourself first. then when you got a rough draft, either consult a friend or post it on here. the people on gamespot are pretty helpful so im sure that wont be a problem. The main parts your gonna need are ,Motherboard,CPU,RAM,Hard drive,DVD drive,Video card,Power supply,and your operating system. you can buy some cool extras but those are the essentials for a new build from scratch. I'd advice you not to skimp on the Motherboard and PSU. those are the two most important parts in a computer IMO. good luck man.

Awesome, well that's around the time I'm going to be makin this thing. Right now I got to much on schedule(school sports etc.) but once I get back to working at a real job and start bringing in some more money than my job right now, I'm gonna make myself a computer. I want a rough estimate of a nice computer right now so I'll know what to get then, and hey, there may be some price drops, like the one you just mentioned, by then.
